This position reports to Operations Controller and will work in Elkhart, IN or LaGrange, IN.
About The Position
As a Financial Operations Analyst in the Finance Operations team, you will be involved in supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis while collaborating closely with operations teams. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for financial modeling and business insights. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to optimize financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.

About The Position
As a Financial Operations Analyst in the Finance Operations team, you will be involved in supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis while collaborating closely with operations teams. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to optimize financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Create financial models for both ad hoc projects as well as standardized reporting and analysis across Finance Operations.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes with a particular focus on freight reporting.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in compliance and audit-related activities, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Work closely with Transportation Compliance and Plant Controllers on inbound freight, outbound freight and U.S. Customs costs to ensure accurate product costs and financial reporting.
- Support ad hoc analysis with data collection and analysis.

A suitable background would be some experience within finance and operations– as well as the following qualifications and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Internship or coursework in financial analysis, accounting, or business strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Curious mind – happy to ask questions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
- Experience working with operations teams in a financial capacity.
