
Social Media Coordinator
(Must reside in Arizona-No relocation)
Job Overview:
SelectBlinds is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to manage and execute our social media and influencer strategies, creating meaningful connections with our community while enhancing brand awareness. Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Curation:
- Develop, write, and design engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok).
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Curate content from relevant sources to share on the company’s platforms.
- Manage and organize the asset library.
Social Media Strategy:
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies that align with the company’s marketing goals.
- Monitor trends in social media, ideating how to apply them to the brand.
Community Management:
- Engage with and grow our social media communities by responding to comments, questions, and messages daily encouraging active, positive conversations.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address inquiries and support a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor and support daily social listening efforts to identify trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
Influencer Marketing:
- Identify and manage influencer relationships, particularly in the Home/DIY space, with a focus on cultivating authentic, long-term partnerships.
- Nurture and grow the influencer affiliate program through Upfluence—supporting creators with tracking links, exclusive discount codes, and partnership opportunities to drive sales and brand awareness.
Brand Management:
- Ensure that all social media content is aligned with the company’s branding and voice guidelines.
- Maintain a cohesive social media presence that reflects the company’s values and mission.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and customer service, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate new ideas for content and campaigns.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with social media analytics, planning, scheduling, and influencer marketing platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Airtable, Upfluence).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus.
- A track record of successfully managing social media accounts and driving engagement for a brand or organization.
