Registered Nurse

We're Hiring: Registered Nurse!

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who will respond to emergencies and administer first aid to employees for job related illnesses and injuries.

Role: Registered Nurse

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Pay Rate: $52-$60/hour on W2 (DOE)

Duration: 24 months or longer

Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid to employees for job related illnesses and injuries.
• Deliver OSHA and job/site/contract required surveillance program services (i.e. hearing conservation, respiratory protection, visual acuity, bloodborne pathogens, biological monitoring, etc.) to identified employee populations in collaboration with Environmental Health and Safety.
  
  

Note: Most of these services are performed offsite by an outside clinic, but the nurse will be responsible for scheduling, obtaining and reviewing all results from the clinic.

• Maintain accurate recordkeeping in electronic medical records system (Cority) in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Dispense OTC Medications.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and standards governing occupational health and safety for employees and the workplace.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• At least 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse with Associate of Science in Nursing
  
  

Required Certifications

• CPR/BLS
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• 2+ years in occupational health
  
  

Preferred Certifications

• Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC)
• Spirometry (NIOSH approved course optimal)
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)
