Key Responsibilities:

• Remote Psychological Services: Provide remote psychological services, including individual, couples, or family therapy, and potentially psychological assessments, using secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platforms (consistent with your license scope and areas of expertise).

• Clinical Documentation: Maintain exceptional, confidential clinical records in a timely and accurate manner, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations, state licensing board requirements, and the highest ethical standards.

• Ethical and Legal Adherence: Practice in complete accordance with the ethical principles and code of conduct set forth by the American Psychological Association (APA), as well as all applicable state and federal laws, including HIPAA.

• Client Communication: Professionally manage all client interactions, including scheduling, responding to inquiries, and clearly communicating your therapeutic approach, fee structure, and practice policies.

• Direct Fee Management: Establish your own session rates and manage all billing and payment processes directly with your clients.

Requirements:

• Education: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an APA-accredited program.

• Licensure: Must possess a current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in at least one US state. This may be denoted as "Licensed Psychologist" or "Registered Psychologist" depending on state regulations. You are responsible for ensuring full compliance with all telehealth laws and regulations in any state where you provide services.

• Experience: Verifiable post-licensure experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessment services, including diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Telehealth Competence: Demonstrated proficiency in using HIPAA-compliant telehealth technology (video platforms, secure messaging). Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) or practice management systems is a significant asset.

• Legal & Ethical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, state-specific laws and regulations governing the practice of psychology and telehealth, and the APA's Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct.

• Professional Liability Insurance: Must maintain current professional liability (malpractice) insurance coverage.
