Position Overview
The Manager of Talent Acquisition will lead full-cycle recruitment across the organization and report to the Vice President of People & Culture. This role will immediately focus on managing 18+ open requisitions while partnering with leaders across departments. As a key resource for talent strategy, the Manager will drive effective, innovative hiring practices to attract top talent. Strong technical skills and experience building recruitment processes are essential, as this role will oversee the company’s recruitment CRM. This person must prioritize learning Trumark’s industry and culture to accurately represent the company in both manager- and candidate-facing interactions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong initiative. This is a full-time, in-person role based out of Trumark’s San Ramon Corporate office. Occasional travel to divisions in California and Colorado may be required.

Responsibilities
- Expand and implement a comprehensive recruitment process for the organization, focusing on key aspects such as salary bands, offer letters, job descriptions, interviewing, and job offer extensions. The person will be responsible for a full-cycle recruitment process and launch of a recruitment CRM.
- Develop an intern recruitment program. Manage all internal and external recruitment hiring events, representing the organization at local/regional/national job fairs to promote the organization and source qualified applicants.
- Serve as a consultative partner and trainer to leaders, hiring managers/directors, human resources, and the recruitment team on all recruiting activities and talent-related strategies and initiatives throughout a search to influence decisions regarding recruitment strategy, profile development, assessment methods, and final selection. This includes interview training.
- Develop and lead recruitment strategies and recommendations based on data analysis and metrics-driven execution. Own and report recruiting metrics to the leadership teams.
- Manage relationships with internal and external recruitment partners such as LinkedIn, Job Target, Salary.com, and other platforms, as well as contracted staffing providers, independent consultants, search firms, etc.
- Collaborate in the development and management of the department’s budget.
- Develop and present data, updates, and other department information to the director and organizational leaders.
- Eventually, grow the talent team.
- 6+ years of recruitment and/or HR experience, including 2+ years in a people management role
- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute full-cycle recruitment across a range of roles and departments
- Proven ability to source passive candidates and build strong talent pipelines
- Experience developing and managing university outreach and intern programs
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive KPIs and recruitment strategy
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a rapidly expanding employee population
- Demonstrated interest in the homebuilding and real estate industry; prior experience in these sectors is a plus
- Preferred exposure to mergers and acquisitions and related organizational integration
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Technical proficiency with recruitment CRMs, LinkedIn Recruiter, ADP Workforce Now, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset—no task is too small and no challenge too big
