We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Community Manager to join our Chicago-based Socials team. The Community Manager will lead and scale consumer and cultural engagements on social media across our GHOST brand communities — including Lifestyle, Energy, Gaming, Wellness and Apparel. They will be the primary voice of the brand, driving meaningful conversations, tapping into cultural moments, and building a strong, engaged fanbase across entertainment, sports, lifestyle, and more.


The Deets:

  • Be responsible for managing the community across all platforms in a quick, timely fashion, owning and answering comments, DMs, and being an extremely active presence within social and cultural conversation in platforms.
  • Act as the voice of the brand in copywriting efforts across all social platforms.
  • Spearhead and project manage new and innovative ways to build community through existing and emerging platforms, trends, and tools.
  • Actively contribute ideas and surface trends, community feedback, and notable creator opportunities in team content planning sessions.
  • Support the curation of social feeds and mine DMs for content opportunities, direct engagement with audience and brand advocates and surface relevant UGC.


The Requirements:

  • Chronically online and obsessed with social media and popular culture.
  • 3+ years of experience driving social media audience growth for brands or businesses through content and community-led strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar field of study (or equivalent experience).
  • Deep understanding and active use across key and emerging social platforms are critical.
  • Strong copywriting & copy-editing skills.
  • Self-motivated/self-starter.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment with strong skills in organization, attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Takes feedback to execute change and make improvements.
  • Communicative, trustworthy, and able to meet and manage multiple deadlines.
