Job_Summary:

Lockton is an insurance brokerage organization that offers services such as extensive assessment, research, and best-fit programs. The Data Quality Analyst will support the Data Analytics team by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data-driven initiatives, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide actionable insights and maintain high-quality reporting.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analytics projects and ad-hoc analyses to generate insights which support stakeholders in decision-making and solution development.

• Utilize scripting, query tools, and automation techniques to implement data standards, extract and validate data, and generate reports, dashboards, and usable metrics.

• Ensure data integrity by creating and maintaining data sets, monitoring quality, troubleshooting issues, and identifying root causes with recommended solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure effective communication, process reliability, and data quality across analytics projects, providing both administrative and analytical support.

• Provide business logic for data mappings to support reporting and analytics.

• Deliver training and support to internal clients on data tools and literacy while maintaining a high standard of client service and adapting communication styles to audience needs.

• Recommend process improvements, policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


-Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Insurance, Health Policy, Information Technology, or equivalent education/work experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, with proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, manipulate, and validate large datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality.

• Solid understanding of data sources, processes, formulas, and reporting outputs.

• Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with the ability to improve processes and contribute to complex problem-solving initiatives.

• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to diverse stakeholders effectively.


-Preferred:

• Experience with data visualization tools, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
