PlainsCapital Bank is currently looking to hire a Loan Processor in Lubbock, Texas. The Loan Processor is responsible for preparing and processing loan documentation on commercial, consumer and real estate loans using the bank's loan processing system. In addition, the Loan Processor provides excellent customer service to loan officers and customers by responding to loan documentation requests in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepares loan documentation at the request of the loan officer and ensures that loan documents are produced in accordance with PCB policies and procedures and in compliance with regulatory and internal controls.
• Prints loan coupons at the request of the loan officer or customer.
• Files UCC’s in the correct jurisdiction.
• Pulls lien searches and DNB reports at the officer’s request.
• Sends documents for electronic signing using FIS e-Sign.
• Sends loan documentation for filing with the appropriate government entity in a timely manner, as required by internal procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Provides quality service to internal and external customers by producing error free and timely loan documentation.
• Assists manager with various duties and/or projects.
• Must have the ability to work with and adapt to changing organizational and operational needs and to take on additional principal duties and responsibilities as needed.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year office/clerical experience required. Previous banking and/or loan processing experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products as well as custom applications and systems.
• Excellent, time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and produce error-free work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
