JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Collect information for material requests and obtain required signatures.
  • Expedite transfers of materials from the stock area to the production area or sites.
  • Receive products, examine them, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts. Record received items in the computer system.
  • Pick and pack customer orders, load and wrap skids for shipping. Manage the outbound in System.
  • Label items around the warehouse and keep the warehouse maintained.
  • Conduct the physical counting regularly and replenish parts in shortage following process using BOM and other materials required.
  • Track ETA of parts using inventory log and production schedules, and/or by verifying with material control and purchasing.
  • Identify critical missing parts daily using proper documentation and communicate to material controls group.
  • Categorize and follow up with leads to make sure correct material is being released per schedule.
  • Assist department managers in managing and controlling material in overall department and communicate status with department supervisor(s).
  • Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Prioritize and plan for work activities.
  • Proper use of PPE and observe safety and security procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
