Job Description

Job Summary: Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing is seeking a full-time Applications and Business Process Analyst to join our team in Columbia, MO. This role is responsible for providing end-to-end support for business-critical software applications, including troubleshooting user issues, optimizing system functionality, and collaborating with IT teams to implement enhancements and new features. The ideal candidate will also analyze existing business processes and recommend strategic improvements to increase operational efficiency, effectiveness, and integration across platforms.

  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
  • Provides technical knowledge needed for implementing and maintaining business and laboratory software as assigned. Some applications will be controlled by 21 CFR Part 11 Regulations.
  • Writes and/or reviews required documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) necessary to support applications.
  • Ensures functional capabilities and best practices are shared across groups including planning and problem solving to determine business process with current functionality.
  • Develops and maintains expert user-level knowledge of eLIMS-BPT and processes supported.
  • Serves as Business Intelligence power user and acts as point of contact for enhancements and troubleshooting.
  • Attends training as needed to stay current with assigned applications.
  • Works with providers and outside consultants to leverage technical expertise to support current applications.
  • Assists in providing training to staff on the use of business and laboratory applications.
  • Defines user requirements and assists in design of new functionality and enhancements.
  • Assists with configuration, unit testing, and maintenance of application software and/or data collection devices.
  • Maintains good working relations with various groups (information systems, operations, quality assurance, and general administration) as it relates to all assigned applications.
  • Reviews, tests, and/or assists in administering configuration of application products (major released and critical updates).
  • Investigates issues and defects using available resources including SOPs and enhancement/defect lists.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or another related science or engineering curriculum
  • 1+ years experience in process improvement
  • Experience with LIMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience leading projects
