Project Background:
The Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon Fire Assistance Program was established under the Hermit's Peak Fire Assistance Act (H.R. 7721) to compensate individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and government entities impacted by the 2022 wildfire and subsequent flooding in New Mexico. Administered by FEMA through a dedicated Claims Office, the program manages over 20,000 Notices of Loss and 30,000 Proofs of Loss. Contractors will support FEMA in delivering timely, accurate, and claimant-focused services, including administrative support, site inspections, appeals processing, and compensation recommendations, in alignment with federal guidance.

This role supports the Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon Fire Assistance Program by reviewing, verifying, and processing claims related to property damage and economic loss. Responsibilities include evaluating documentation for accuracy, ensuring compliance with federal policies, identifying errors, and supporting appeals. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in claims management systems. Clear communication with claimants, FEMA staff, and stakeholders is essential.

Education & Certification:
Senior Level: Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in claim/case processing roles, including:
