About the Role:

The Recruiter is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, evaluate, and hire top talent aligned with our company values and business goals. This role partners closely with hiring managers and the broader HR team to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, screening, interviewing, and presenting job offers to candidates. Continuously evaluate and seek opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience within this process.
  • Proactively source qualified candidates using various methods such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking events, job fairs and direct outreach.
  • Actively build and maintain relationships with schools, workforce programs, community organizations, and key individuals who can connect qualified candidates to the company
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with job requirements and company culture.
  • Schedule, facilitate and conduct interviews alongside hiring managers, ensuring timely follow-up throughout the hiring process.
  • Communicate consistently and professionally with candidates to ensure a positive experience, regardless of hiring outcome.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the recruiting module within the HRIS/Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring effective use, data accuracy, system improvements, and providing support to HR and hiring managers.
  • Accurately document candidate interactions, statuses, and feedback within the applicant tracking system to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Build and maintain pools of qualified candidates for frequently recruited roles and future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department to promote the organization’s values, culture, and career opportunities through various recruitment channels and events.
  • Create and manage job descriptions and interview questions to ensure they accurately reflect position requirements, support fair and consistent hiring practices, and align with company values and legal guidelines.
  • Monitor labor market trends and compensation data to help ensure competitive wages, understand the job market dynamics (e.g., candidate supply and demand), and advise on hiring strategies accordingly.
  • Follow company policies and employment laws regarding recruitment, selection, and record-keeping practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the HR team and overall business needs

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.  
  • At least two years of recruiting or related experience required.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.  
  • Excellent organizational skills.  
  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS).  
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.  
  • Previous Experience with UKG Recruiting a plus.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.  

 

Physical Requirements:

Work is performed in a climate-controlled company. Employees operate standard office equipment including telephone, headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, and copier/scanner. Physical tasks of the job include walking, sitting, standing, and bending.
