Hostel Support Staff (Nights)

The charity are looking for Hostel Support Staff to join their night team and provide overnight housing management, client support, care and supervision to clients living in their 24-hour supported hostel.

Hostel Support Staff will be responsible for monitoring and promoting the wellbeing of clients, and actioning any safeguarding concerns. They will also respond to urgent or crisis situations by offering immediate support and intervention, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients, and work with local authorities and emergency services when necessary.

Successful candidates will have experience of working with people with multiple disadvantages, or with people who are or have been homeless. They will also have knowledge of the local homelessness services, housing options and support systems.

Arc are particularly keen to hear from those with lived experience of previous homelessness, substance misuse, being in care and/or an offending background or similar social issues.
