The Vice President of Business Development & Product Strategy will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, commercial operations infrastructure, and strategic roadmap for the Mobility Coatings business. Reporting to the President, Global Mobility, this executive will be responsible for global product portfolio performance, pricing and margin management, commercial enablement, strategic planning, and growth initiatives aligned with market trends in automotive OEM, e-mobility, and sustainable mobility segments.

Product Management & Innovation
- Lead the global product management team responsible for lifecycle management, roadmap development, and profitability of coatings and chemical solutions for the mobility market
- Own product line strategies, including value proposition development, competitive benchmarking, and customer segmentation
- Champion customer-centric innovation, collaborating with R&D and Technical Service to align with OEM specifications, regulatory shifts, and sustainability trends (e.g., low-VOC, waterborne, e-mobility solutions)
- Build and optimize commercial processes including sales forecasting, pricing governance, customer deal analytics, CRM and S&OP alignment
- Lead commercial enablement initiatives such as sales training, tools, and digital platforms to support global and regional account teams
- Oversee performance dashboards and KPI tracking for sales execution, customer retention, and margin expansion
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic plans for the mobility coatings business, aligned with corporate goals, macro trends (EV adoption, circular economy), and regional priorities
- Identify M&A targets, partnership opportunities, and new business models (e.g., digital paint matching, services)
- Drive global strategic planning cycles, long-range financial planning, and scenario analyses with cross-functional leaders
- Lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team across product management, strategy, and commercial operations functions
- Serve as a key partner to regional GMs, R&D, marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies
- Influence executive leadership with data-driven recommendations and actionable business cases
- 15+ years of experience in the chemical, coatings, or automotive sectors with a blend of product management, commercial strategy, and operational leadership
- Strong background in mobility/automotive coatings (OEM, tier suppliers, refinish) preferred
- Demonstrated success managing global teams and complex product portfolios across multiple geographies
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive revenue and margin growth
- Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing, profitability analysis, and business case development
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Chemistry preferred; MBA a plus
