Key Responsibilities
Recruiting Coordination:
- Assist in managing the football program’s recruiting database and communications platform (e.g., ARMS, Hudl, etc.).
- Identify prospective cadet-athletes in collaboration with coaching staff with specific details involving evaluation of talent, along with review of transcripts and test scores, and medical items in relation to USAFA standards and policies.
- Manage recruiting boards, film evaluation processes, and communication pipelines to include a highly organized and detailed account of each prospect via Arms recruiting software.
- Assist communication strategy with recruits (letters, calls, digital media).
- Plan and execute official and unofficial campus visits.
- Assist campus visits, official and unofficial, with airline travel, transportation support, hotel, meals, and all associated activities and vendors to provide a first-class experience for recruits and their families.
- Coordinate logistics for recruiting events, campus tours, game-day visits, and Junior Days.
- Maintain compliance with NCAA, Mountain West Conference, and USAFA rules and regulations. Admissions Liaison:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the football program and committed recruits with completing the USAFA admissions requirements.
- Guide recruits and their families through the USAFA admissions and nomination processes.
- Track applicant progress (e.g., medical clearance, academic documentation, letters of recommendation, tests scores, essays, resume, and congressional nomination).
- Ensure timely submission of required admissions materials by prospective cadet-athletes.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous experience in NCAA football recruiting, operations, or admissions is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with NCAA recruiting rules and the unique demands of service academy admissions.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
