Who We Want

The HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources team while contributing to the optimization and automation of HR systems and workflows. This position is responsible for coordinating payroll preparation tasks, onboarding, offboarding, stakeholder changes, and HR recordkeeping. Additionally, the role will work closely with the HRIS Manager to build and enhance HR processes in UKG, leveraging system capabilities (including AI and automation) to reduce manual tasks and support organizational growth.

What To Expect

HR Operations & Administrative Support

  • Support the payroll cycle by preparing and validating stakeholder (employee) data changes for payroll processing.
  • Coordinate stakeholder (employee) lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and other changes.
  • Maintain and audit electronic stakeholder (employee) records to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Provide support to stakeholders (employees) and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Track and maintain HR documentation, such as job descriptions, organizational charts, and standard operating procedures.

HR Technology & Process Improvement

  • Partner with the HRIS Manager to build, test, and implement workflows in UKG.
  • Assist with system data audits, reporting, and analysis to ensure system accuracy.
  • Help identify inefficiencies in manual HR processes and recommend or implement automation solutions.
  • Collaborate on the design and documentation of streamlined, scalable HR processes to support company growth.
  • Support system configuration related to onboarding, offboarding, document management, and data collection workflows.

What You Need

  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a coordinator, specialist, or generalist capacity.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms; UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and system interfaces.
  • Process-minded with a passion for finding efficiencies and improving systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Experience supporting or configuring UKG Pro or UKG Dimensions.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools or HR process design.
  • Intermediate Excel or reporting skills.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements related to employment recordkeeping and payroll.

The Total Rewards Expected For This Role Include

  • Starting annual base salary between $50,000 - $66,200.
