The Learning Experience Designer is a member of the Value Enablement and Adoption (VEA) Training team, supporting Engineering, Product, Innovation, & Cloud (EPIC). You will design and develop exceptional learning content and experiences to convey organizational constructs and methodologies, technical concepts, and processes in a manner that meets learning and business objectives for an internal audience. You will have a proven track record of developing effective blended-learning experiences (eLearning, Instructor-Led, On-the-Job Training, Reference and Performance Support), worked in Agile, technology /SaaS environments, and be comfortable working at a face pace. In this position, you will have a good balance of being independent and a team player.

The pay range for this position is $70,100 to $100,800, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation. Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Learning Program Managers and business partners to determine business/learning needs and measures
- Works with EPIC subject matter experts to develop learning content and experiences, following an iterative development lifecycle
- Rapidly designs and develops engaging and impactful content and activities using holistic LXD principles to meet internal performance needs
- Creates content in multiple modalities (eLearning, software simulations, OJT, classroom, etc.).
- Contributes to the development of and effectively applies VEA Training design processes, templates, and tools.
- Stays current on training trends and recommends innovative solutions for training methods and media
- Works within Agile practices to ensure projects are completed on time and according to design, development, and quality standards
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
- 5+ years as an Instructional Designer or equivalent experience designing and developing blended learning solutions (preferably in a SaaS environment)
- Experience developing multiple instructional modalities including instructor-led (synchronous and asynchronous), eLearning, & structured experiences. Samples required.
- Proven ability to develop training that incorporates adult learning theories, visual learning design, and interactive training techniques
- Strong proficiency with Articulate 360 and industry standard eLearning development software.
- Strong analytical skills - differentiates ‘need-to-know’ and ‘nice-to-know’ content
- Strong oral/written communication and editing skills, ability to communicate concrete and abstract ideas for the appropriate audiences
- Must be flexible and be able to work both in teams and individually, influence change, manage multiple commitments, demonstrate high attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines
- Must be comfortable working as a hybrid employee (onsite / remote) and have the discipline to stay both motivated and engaged remotely
- Experience developing instructional graphics, basic animation, video, etc. (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, After Effects, or similar)
- Working in an Agile (SAM) and waterfall (ADDIE) design environments
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their application in learning and development.
- Working in Agile processes / environments
- Working in a SaaS environment
- Designing technical certification programs
