What You’ll Do
- Prep and paint vehicles using waterborne or solvent-based paint systems
- Mask, clean, sand, and prime surfaces with precision
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray equipment
- Buff and sand painted surfaces to ensure a flawless finish
- Maintain and clean spray guns and related equipment
- Inspect refinished vehicles to ensure quality control standards are met
- Mix and match paints as needed
- Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and proper handling of materials
- 1–3+ years of hands-on experience in auto body painting
- Strong knowledge of surface prep, paint mixing, and application techniques
- Experience with spray guns and painting equipment
- Keen eye for detail and color accuracy
- Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 70 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
