Job Summary:
The Vice President of Information Systems will lead the strategic vision, development, implementation, and ongoing management of all information technology systems for the organization. This executive will play a key role in driving digital transformation, operational efficiency, and system scalability across all logistics, transportation, and warehousing operations. The VP will ensure that technology initiatives align with business objectives, enhance customer experience, and support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with overall company goals.
  • Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
  • Evaluate and implement technology to support scalability, automation, and innovation.
  • Oversee architecture and integration of core 3PL systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, YMS, EDI).
  • Manage infrastructure for security, redundancy, and performance.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.
  • Lead and mentor IT, software development, cybersecurity, and support teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, agility, and operational excellence.
  • Leverage data analytics and BI tools to enhance reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and integrity across platforms.
  • Ensure systems and data security in accordance with industry regulations (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
  • Maintain robust protocols for risk management and compliance.
  • Oversee relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Manage technology budgets and ensure ROI on all initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a proven track record in managing enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and security.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, drive change, and influence executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills to address complex IT challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business leaders.
  • Certifications (Preferred): PMP, CISSP, ITIL, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other relevant IT certifications.
