Job Duties
- Ordering and receiving parts.
- Control parts inventory.
- Assists management with administrative tasks such as tracking and compiling information of interest.
- Prepares various reports detailing the administrative information handled by the position.
- Assists with the scheduling of planned and unplanned maintenance to ensure that equipment, parts and systems are operating efficiently.
- Collaborates with maintenance workers on equipment, parts and systems that need replacement and communicates these needs to purchasing or management teams.
- Monitors maintenance activities to ensure that daily maintenance tasks and goals are met timely and accurately.
- Evaluates current maintenance schedule and plans new maintenance orders around existing schedule to ensure no scheduling conflicts.
- Intakes unplanned maintenance requests and delegates appropriate resources to fulfill maintenance orders.
- Works with maintenance workers on a daily basis to receive maintenance updates and provides additional resources or time as needed.
- Will communicate with vendors and contractors to ensure that maintenance schedule is maintained.
- Assists in procuring parts and equipment that need replacement.
- Provides reports to management on maintenance activities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring quality, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Monitoring expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring the company receives the best possible prices.
- Ensuring accurate order placement, tracking shipments, and resolving discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders.
- Works with management team to create and maintain an accurate parts database.
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
