- The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Development Technician 3. This is a full time, state-funded position in a vibrant and exciting academic department with an accredited engineering program. This position provides lay off rights, and reports to the Department Chair. The Development Technician supports the departments instructional and research needs and activities by maintaining laboratory operations, equipment, and facilities. Responsibilities include preparing labs, setting up equipment and materials, performing routine maintenance/troubleshooting, as well as coordinating purchases and repairs. The position provides hands-on support to faculty and students, including training on equipment use and design/fabrication of specialized equipment, assemblies, and experimental setups.
