This is your entry point.

You will oversee the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with the initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a role defined by handoffs. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate fit, facilitate substantive conversations, and advocate for "no" when that is the appropriate course. The objective is not to maximize enrollment. The objective is to ensure alignment.

We welcome candidates with experience in premium service contexts outside traditional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership organizations, or owner-operators who have directly managed high-value client experiences from beginning to end. What is essential is your capacity to execute a high-touch, multi-phase process with sound judgment, clarity, and consistent follow-through.

This is a full-time, salaried, in-person position. We are hiring in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, South Bay. Relocation assistance is available.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Overseeing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-assessment discussions to establish fit prior to introducing solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Tracking 20+ concurrent family relationships at varying stages of the enrollment cycle, maintaining clear insight into status and required follow-ups.
  • Guiding campus tours, shadow visits, and decision-oriented conversations that articulate outcomes, expectations, and the families for whom the model is designed.
  • Keeping CRM and enrollment records current and accurate (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales techniques.
  • Accepting families who are poorly aligned simply to satisfy enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a large team or navigating complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing ownership of the family experience across multiple roles.
  • Operating remotely. This role is campus-based by necessity.

Dean Of Enrollment Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver a high-trust, high-selectivity enrollment process that successfully converts well-aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and academic performance of the Alpha model.

Basic Requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, tailored service in settings where service quality directly influences brand reputation (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or owner-operated services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ client, guest, or family relationships concurrently at various stages, supported by a clear tracking and prioritization system.
  • Capacity to offer specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you recommended against your product or service due to misalignment.
  • Professional written communication history with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of the following locations: La Jolla, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Marin County, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; or South Bay, CA.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience in selective private school admissions or enrollment for competitive programs.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP guest services, or executive support functions.
  • Experience developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service standards.
  • Proficiency using data and CRM insights to enhance conversion quality, not merely conversion speed.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
