This role is for a licensed physician with 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, preferably in urgent care or emergency medicine, to provide a range of acute care services.
Responsibilities include examining and treating patients, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, diagnosing, prescribing medications, treating minor injuries, and educating patients.
The physician will supervise remote PA/NP providers and act as a collaborating physician during credentialing.
Qualifications include board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine, active medical licensure, and experience with office procedures like suturing and splinting. Knowledge of EMR systems, strong communication, and customer service skills are preferred.
Work shifts are typically 8 or 12 hours, with all duties aimed at delivering high-quality urgent care services.
