This role is for a Physician in a Clinical Services: Provider department, primarily responsible for independently diagnosing and treating acute conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu symptoms, minor injuries, and infections.
- Requires graduation from an accredited medical school, 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, and active licensure in the state.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine is mandatory.
- Preferred experience includes Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine settings, with skills in procedures like suturing and splinting.
- Key duties involve patient examinations, medical history taking, diagnostics, prescribing medications, treating minor injuries, documenting notes, patient education, vaccinations, and referrals.
- Will supervise PA/NPs remotely and act as a Collaborating Physician for up to four PAs/NPs during credentialing.
- Work shifts are typically 8 or 12 hours, with all other duties as assigned. Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills are essential.
