Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, OR equivalent experience combined with relevant education.
  • Must have a working knowledge of logistics support.
  • Previous experience with Tableau, SAP, SFM, metrics, and/ or database management.

You will be a Systems Engineer - Level 2 maintaining and managing performance metrics on the U-2 Program.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Systems Engineer - Level 2 who supports the U-2 Program, your responsibilities will include weekly NMCS, FMC, and maintaining the monthly Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) database and CDRL. You will develop reliability and maintainability improvements of hardware/software by timely and disciplined utilization of failure and maintenance data. You will generate and implement effective corrective actions to prevent failure recurrence, and simplify, or reduce maintenance tasks. You will be responsible to provide a monthly FRACAS CDRL report to the customer. Employee will input Failure Analysis Report data into the FRACAS database and conduct monthly trend analysis reports. Candidate will participate in Root Cause Corrective Action Integrated Product Teams for required deficient parts. You will assign failure modes, cause, and repair actions. In this position you will maintains update, and control access to the FRACAS database. You will assist and support U-2 requirements such as PQDRs, Recalls, CSC, KEF cell, and TCTOs as required and directed. You will be responsible to host customer meetings, produce minutes, and maintain action items lists.

Desired Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document analysis results and explain technical findings
  • Exposure to one or more of the following: reliability predictions, maintainability analysis, FMECA, mission reliability or mission success modeling, FRACAS, or testability analysis
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies a plus
  • Demonstrated initiative, learning agility, and the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to closure with support
  • Ability to work effectively on cross functional teams and experience with presenting
