As a Systems Engineer you will serve as a key interface between the requirements, design, subsystem engineering, system engineering, and production teams.
In This Role You Will
- Perform systems integration, test planning and implementation
- Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
- Support test activities on site
- Perform data reviews and provide feedback to test and integration teams
- Find opportunities for build flow and test efficiencies
Desired Skills
- Validated understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
- System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.)
- Experience with operations design
- Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for implementation on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
- Demonstrated experience of good judgment and programmatic implementation vital to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams, shape meaningful relationships with team members and deliver consensus among peers
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
- Active Secret security clearance with investigation in the last 5 years
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
