Graphic / Production Designer

Our client is seeking a Graphic / Production Designer! This role is fully remote, full-time, starting as soon as possible.
The client is an LA-based merchandising company that designs promotional gifting products for the entertainment industry. The team is close-knit and collaborates closely to bring unique merchandise to life.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Prepare, adapt, and finalize client-approved artwork for high-volume production across wearables and hard goods
- Set up accurate, print-ready files for a variety of decoration methods, including screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, sublimation, and digital printing, with clear callouts for dimensions, Pantone colors, and print methods
- Ensure all artwork meets vendor, product, and decoration specifications, including color separations, sizing, bleed, and trapping
- Identify and flag potential production issues before files are released to vendors
- Review vendor proofs to ensure accuracy and consistency with provided artwork
- Confirm all files and proofs align with brand standards and licensing requirements
- Manage revisions efficiently while maintaining version control across multiple SKUs and product variations
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers, account managers, and production teams to resolve technical and production-related issues
- Redraw, clean up, and vectorize supplied artwork and assets as needed
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation within the department's workflow system
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- At least 2+ years of experience as a Production Artist, Prepress Artist, or in a similar role (experience in apparel or promotional products preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Strong knowledge of Pantone color matching and print color management
- Understanding of apparel decoration methods, including screen printing, color separations, four-color process, and digital printing
- Familiarity with product customization techniques such as embroidery, molded metal, resin, PVC, and screen printing
- Understanding of vendor and factory artwork requirements and production specifications
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within established brand and licensing guidelines
