The Role
Terabase is looking for an experienced Director, Supply Chain. The Director, Supply Chain is a key player on the product development team, reporting to the COO and will work closely with our SCADA, Software, and R&D teams to support the of develop products that will radically change how large-scale utility power plants are constructed. Terabase is at the forefront of applying innovative techniques that will remove 70-80% of solar power plant assembly work from the field using a combination of advanced assembly and construction techniques, customized equipment, and automation.

Responsibilities
- The Director, Supply Chain's role is to identify and manage vendors domestically and overseas. Build a robust and resilient supply chain to support the development and commercialization of Terabase's field assembly plants and associated technologies.
- Establish supply chain strategy for Terabase's Field Assembly Factory and identify, select and manage domestic and international manufacturers and contract manufacturers.
- Develop, execute and manage contracts and MSA's with key suppliers.
- Provide New Product Introduction support for Terabase's field assembly plants and associated technologies.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in New Product Introduction and transition to sustaining manufacturing especially in high-tech product lines.
- 10+ years experience sourcing, qualifying, and managing manufacturers and contract manufacturers both statewide and internationally.
- Must have experience creating turnkey manufacturing solutions for high tech product lines.
- Must have thorough understanding of metal manufacturing and underlying cost structures and be able to evaluate and reverse engineer quotes.
- Self-starter, able to thrive in a fast-paced and continually changing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to meet domestic and international vendors as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience identifying and qualifying vendors of motors, actuators, and industrial controls
- Expertise working with MRP and ERP systems is a plus
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously under constrained timelines

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each posted range individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher) dependent on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The expected salary range for this role is $170,000-200,000 DOE.
