About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and creative Junior Social Media Specialist to support the day-to-day management and growth of social media programs across our client portfolio.
This role offers meaningful hands-on experience in content creation, platform management, community engagement, and performance reporting. You'll help plan, create, publish, and optimize content while contributing to real-time campaign execution and client success.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, eager to learn, and excited about building a career in social media marketing within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
A genuine interest in professional sports, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and other major leagues, is a plus.
Growth Opportunity
This role is designed as a developmental position with a clear path toward becoming a Social Media Specialist or Social Media Manager. As your skills, ownership, and strategic contributions grow, you'll have the opportunity to take on increased responsibility across client management, content strategy, and campaign execution.
Schedule
- In-office: Monday–Thursday
- Remote: Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Create and design social media content using Canva and other creative tools
- Develop platform-specific graphics and visual assets
- Write compelling copy aligned with each client's brand voice and objectives
- Build and maintain content calendars across multiple client accounts
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
- Monitor community engagement and respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions
- Track content performance and assist with reporting and analytics
- Identify emerging trends, timely content opportunities, and cultural moments
- Support creator and influencer partnerships as needed
- Assist with real-time social coverage during tournament and event periods throughout the summer
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong content creation and design skills, particularly in Canva or similar platforms
- Excellent written communication and copywriting abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, proactive, and eager to take ownership of projects
- Familiarity with social media analytics and paid social advertising is a plus, but not required
