JOB SUMMARY
The Employee Engagement Manager supports the creation of an exceptional work environment where talent is not only recruited but developed, retained and fully engaged. Personal initiative and critical thinking skills are essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance. Assignments are deadline driven so must be able to set priorities, take ownership of projects, work efficiently and provide a consistent level of high quality in a high-pressure environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Have an intimate knowledge of and administer company policies
- Manage recruiting and current job postings; coordinate resumes, prescreen applicants and schedule interviews.
- Manage onboarding of new employees including IT equipment, office setup, and orientation.
- Coordinate updating recruiting materials and communications to ensure they are modern and attractive to prospective employees
- Support development of video content for employee orientation, special projects and events
- Support the design and delivery of training programs focused on soft skills, leadership development, and emerging skills for the future of our workforce
- Work with the Learning Management System within Workday for tracking employee development programs.
- Create new hire announcements and post on Sharepoint
- Create employee spotlights for posting on Sharepoint and adding to monthly newsletters
- Manage the company Matching Gift Program.
- Manage the company’s Anniversary Gift program.
- Manage all company SWAG including new hire and project related
- Manage annual holiday/Spring Fling gifts
- Manage the annual holiday cards for clients and associates
- Manage Brice EBU SharePoint Directory.
- Create Employee Birthday and Anniversary Announcements on SharePoint.
- Manage paper timesheets for craft personnel payroll’s weekly submittal
- Manage submittal of craft employee per diems
- Mange the monthly cell phone reimbursements and submit file to AP for Calista Brice subsidiaries.
- Ensure proper administration of the travel and expense policy when generating expense reports and credit card reconciliations with timely processing so that AP close deadlines are being met
- Support the president for travel requests, conference reservations, expense reports
- Manage president’s direct report’s expense reports
- Coordinate president’s approval for training/conferences
- Provide support for employee teamworking events
- Provide support for company event planning and execution
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Intermediate to expert level of experience in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to multi-task and manage time.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible, adaptable, positive.
- Ability to work in an Alaska Native Corporation multi-business environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent required.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience as operations support in a project-oriented environment required
- Experience in Accounting, Communications and HR required
- Strong experience in MS Office Suite required
- Valid Driver’s License and qualified to drive on company business.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background screening.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Brice Environmental Services has a fast-paced multi-tasking office environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. At times, work is performed outside of the office at indoor and outdoor job sites. Adaptability regarding schedule and design changes, and occasional overtime for immediate field support or bid processing may be necessary.
