4–6 week contract assignment focused on resolving aged Accounts Receivable issues, improving processes, and helping restore accuracy to the accounting function.

What You'll Be Doing

• Investigate and reconcile aged A/R balances, some dating back several years
• Research customer deductions, short-payments, billing discrepancies, and return-related issues
• Communicate directly with customers to resolve account variances
• Analyze payment application issues involving multiple invoices and purchase orders
• Identify root causes and recommend process improvements
• Assist with documenting accounting procedures and best practices

About You

• Strong background in A/R reconciliation and investigative accounting
• Ability to untangle complex customer account discrepancies
• Comfortable interacting directly with customers regarding payment issues
• Skilled at identifying process gaps and implementing practical solutions
• Available to commit substantial weekly hours during the project period
