Dermatology Medical Assistant

QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Greensboro, NC (GSL). As a Dermatology Medical Assistant at our Greensboro location, you will be an essential member of the clinical team, supporting patient care and ensuring smooth practice operations. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and detailed medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and dermatologic procedures by providing necessary clinical support.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimen collection and processing accurately.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Schedule patient appointments and facilitate effective communication within the clinical team.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and appropriate skincare routines.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with medical supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
• Understanding of medical terminology, particularly relating to dermatology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for patient and team interactions.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and common office software is advantageous.
