• You will execute 100+ outbound dials and personalized cold outreach every single day for the first few months and beyond to self-source prospective clients and partners.
• You will at times spend your days cold-calling and emailing merchants who are bombarded with spam, highly skeptical, and quick to hang up.
• You will face professional rejection dozens of times a day. If you don't have the thick skin to shake off a "No" and dial the next number instantly, you will fail in this role.
• You must manage your pipeline with extreme precision in Salesforce, strictly following scripts and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

What You'll Do

Prospect, Qualify, and Consult:

• Own inbound, outbound, and referral partner lead gen
• Run high-trust discovery calls to uncover real business needs
• Present tailored funding solutions — no smoke, no mirrors

Guide Clients Through the Process:

• Set expectations around underwriting, terms, and next steps
• Assist with docs, follow-ups, and application support
• Keep deals moving while keeping clients informed

Build Relationships that Last:

• Nurture referral partners with professionalism and consistency
• Stay connected to clients post-funding to generate renewals and raving fans

Execute with Excellence:

• Use our world class CRM system to manage pipeline like a pro
• Hit monthly revenue & unit targets — with integrity, not pressure
• Follow SBH scripts, objection handling, and SOPs to the letter

• Customer service, hospitality, athletics, military, leadership, entrepreneurship, or competitive backgrounds are highly valued

Transportation

• Must be able to reliably commute to our Charlotte office Monday through Friday

• Comfortable speaking with business owners over the phone and video
