Position Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions across Everstand. As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, this role partners with hiring managers to attract, engage, and hire qualified candidates who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. The Recruiter plays a critical role in building strong talent pipelines, promoting Everstand's mission and values, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

What does this job do specifically?

  • Model and act in accordance with Everstand’s core values: safety, empathy, relationships, and impact.
  • Honor differences, acknowledge uniqueness, and amplify all voices. Participate in trainings and group experiences.
  • Demonstrate and practice Everstand’s leadership mindset, “Choose kindness. Solve problems and learn together. Make it happen.”
  • Actively recruit staff to fill vacant positions in multiple programs and departments.
  • Conduct strategy meetings on a regular basis with hiring managers. Distribute meeting minutes to keep stakeholders informed of hiring progress. Clearly capture hiring target counts for each vacancy. Keep hiring managers up to date on where candidates are in the pipeline.
  • Review job application traffic with hiring managers. Alert the Talent Acquisition Manager regarding any job that is not getting sufficient traffic. Partner with the hiring manager and TA Manager to make recommendations for adjustments to language, keywords, and other job settings to ensure a consistent candidate flow is being achieved.
  • Onboard and train new hiring managers to Everstand’s applicant tracking system.
  • Maintain candidate stages within ADP (Everstand’s Applicant Tracking System).
  • Conduct phone screens to qualify candidates for opportunities.
  • Conduct interviews for potential Talent members.
  • Confirm that the proper paperwork has been completed and signed so an offer can be made to the candidate.
  • Manage internal job transfer requests as needed.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff occurs from recruitment to HR and Training teams for new hires to attend orientation.
  • Maintain and update various reports, databases, and tracking sheets.
  • Anticipate upcoming changes in staffing and be proactive in intervening.
  • Represent Everstand at career fairs, various colleges, universities, community events, religious organizations and centers, under tapped venues/outlets and role-specific conferences to recruit talent.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with talent placing agencies. (ex. University placement centers)
  • Maintain and continually look for opportunities of ways to source and find new candidates. Utilize search techniques on job placement websites like Indeed and LinkedIn to proactively recruit talent.
  • Post positions internally and externally.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.

What experience and education do I need?

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of recruitment experience or
  • High School Diploma and 5 years of recruitment experience
