Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
Duties: The Manager Trading at Equinor U.S. Operations LLC in Houston, TX will be responsible for Marketing and Trading of Equity and 3rd party physical NGL and Refined Product flows, both Globally and within the Americas. Serve in lead role in Equinor’s global cargo arbitrage business. Serve in lead role in a new Global Financial Trading initiative. Trade financial derivates for hedging and optimization of asset optionality. Develop and implement trading strategies, plan, and lead negotiations. Manage pricing exposures based on market views and information. Collaborate with traders in other offices and provide market insight from an Americas perspective. Work closely with Origination to develop long-term export opportunities from North America in line with the Global LPG asset backed trading strategy. Collaborate with Risk, Operations, Asset Management, and other stakeholders. Maintain and develop key customer relationships. Participate and lead project teams and business development initiatives. Optimize value and utilization of assets (pipeline, rail, barges, refrigerated vessels and storage positions, etc.). Timely and accurate deal entry of all deals into trade capture systems. Responsibility for P&L reporting and explanation. Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations of marketing, shipping, and trading activities. Understand and comply with all rules and regulations regarding commercial marketing and trading activities. 30 % domestic and international travel is required.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a directly related field, plus 13 years of NGL energy trading experience. The thirteen years of experience must include at least eight years of experience with each of the following: (1) trading Edmonton Condensate on the Fort Saskatchewan Pipeline System; (2) trading C5 in the Mont Belvieu Natural Gas Liquids complex including the Lonestar, Enterprise and Targa Caverns; (3) trading with market participants for NGLs, Condensate and Canadian Crude Oil; (4) the CAPP Equalization Process and its effect on diluent value and Enbridge Quality specifications; and (5) trading with U.S. Gulf Coast Market participants for NGLs. Experience must also include at least five years of experience with each of the following: (1) sourcing Naphtha, LSR, or C5 via barge, vessel, or pipe into the Houston Ship Channel; (2) coordinating above ground tankage and batch injections into Explorer Pipeline; and (3) negotiating asset leases for cavern storage, above ground storage, pipeline commitments, and rail and truck terminals.
Experience must also include at least four years of experience with each of the following: (1) managing a LPG export program for a minimum of 3+ Million MT of LPG per year including: trading the physical cargo (FOB and CFR), identifying the optimal product mix, the highest paying international market as well as managing the associated arbitrage risk in the global waterborne markets; (2) managing freight positions by working with Vetting and Operations, negotiating Vessel Charters (both in and out), bidding for Panama Canal auctions, as well as optimizing an existing Term Charter Fleet of over 9 VLGC’s; and (3) actively trading and hedging the arbitrage risk using LPG derivatives including each of the following:
