US Production Manager

This is a full time, on-site position that will involve overseeing the day to day operations of the production department, as well as using information and data to develop a calculated ongoing schedule.
The ideal candidate will own the entire production process and have proven success in team management and operational excellence. They will exhibit critical thinking skills and an adaptability that allows for quickly pivoting as needed in a dynamic environment. This person will lead an inclusive, diverse and trusted team that prides itself on production quality and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and manage a team of production staff, including performance reviews and development plans.
- Oversee the entire production cycle, from raw material intake to finished product packaging.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor production output, quality, and efficiency, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP).
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of production experience, preferably in cosmetics and/or dietary supplements
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
- Computer literacy, competent with excel and favored candidates will have experience with ERP applications
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Experience with quality control systems and procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze production data and implement data-driven improvements.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software
