PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: A Maintenance Technician at IFT Worldwide assists the Plant Manager with functional responsibilities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to the coordinating & scheduling of maintenance activities, and assists in the department’s effort to provide maximum equipment uptime, production support, & customer satisfaction. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding, structural building, adapting materials for the job-need, all desired. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Troubleshoots and performs all necessary repairs.

 Organize & complete preventive maintenance work orders, work requests, PIR’s, and verbal work requests in the required time frame.

 Support the Maintenance Manager in developing efficient maintenance methods, and in the design and selection of new equipment and facilities.

 Ensure the safety and protection of the physical plant and its employees by properly maintaining all security and fire systems.

 Maintain a functional equipment and inventory system that can be managed with the use of maintenance software.

 Assist the company in providing Imagineering employees with a safe, clean working environment.  Proactively works with and supports the Plant Manager to improve the productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness plant wide.

 Perform administrative tasks associated with the department, including the processing (and maintenance if required) of any records generated from these tasks.

 Proactively identify and repair equipment issues.

 All other miscellaneous tasks and assignments.

 Must be able sit, stand, climb, crouch, & crawl.

 Must be able to lift 50 – 100 lbs.

 Various types of Respirators are required for this position. Respirator training, fit testing, & medical evaluations are also required for respirator issuance.

JOB LEVEL This position operates at a facilitator/master level. Although some requirements of the job can be considered routine, many aspects require good judgment and decision-making skills.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE The person in this position should have a high degree of technical understanding, and process techniques. This person should be a self-starter, proactive, leader by example, and should demonstrates “What ever it takes” attitude.

JOB COMPLEXITY Assignments range from moderate to complex in nature, primarily due to our changing customer demands, and “job shop” processes.

Hourly wage

$30-$35

SUPERVISION

Normally receives little-to-no instructions on routine work, and general instructions on new assignments. Receives prioritization of work schedule from Plant Manager.

TRAVEL

This position may require travel to our local facilities & occasional overnight travel. Based out of our Emerson Avenue Indianapolis facility.
