Role Description

Theatre Projects is looking for a full-time Project Accounts Manager with strong experience in accounting and billing for a professional design or engineering services firm. The Project Accounts Manager is responsible, in coordination with the Controller, for all project-based accounting, and acts as coverage for the Controller as needed. In addition, this role will provide dedicated project accounting and organizational support to a Principal Project Manager for a key corporate client (NDA).

The right person for our team has a detailed understanding of corporate accounting and is very familiar with project-based accounting and the percentage-of-completion method of revenue recognition. Prior experience with an ERP database (we use Deltek Vantagepoint) is key. Knowledge of GAAP and experience with the Concur software platform are highly valued for this position.

This full-time, hybrid position will be located in our New England office in South Norwalk, CT: two days/week in office, three days/week work-from-home.
