Client Experience Coordinator
Pathways Advisory Group, Inc.
· A small, but growing local firm?
· Positive, energetic, and supportive co-workers?
· Intensive training?
About Our Company
We are an independent, fee-only financial planning firm serving high-net-worth individuals and families. Our work spans investment management, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
We build long-term, multi-generational relationships with our clients. Most come to us through referrals, and we take pride in delivering thoughtful, high-touch service.
We are a small team with a collaborative, team-first culture and a focus on doing things the right way.
Position Details
We have an immediate full-time opening. However, we would certainly accommodate part-time hours until graduation.
In our firm, the Client Experience Coordinator plays a central role. This person coordinates much of the day-to-day investment trading, paperwork, and money movement. Clients depend upon this person to handle many of their pressing needs: opening accounts, transferring accounts, handling deposits and withdrawals. There is considerable client back-and-forth communication.
We depend upon this person to smoothly integrate a new client into our firm, to help us prepare for client meetings, and to handle post-meeting follow-up tasks.
Under the supervision of our planners, paraplanners, and Chief Operating Officer, specific duties include:
· Welcoming clients
· Phone/Scheduling
· Handling client requests
· Preparing reports for client meetings
- Opening new client accounts
- Daily reconciliation of client investment accounts
- Placing investment trades
- Managing the incoming transfers of client accounts
- Handling client deposits and withdrawals
- Composing letters to clients, accountants, attorneys
- Preparing reports for client meetings
· Maintain and order office supplies
· General clerical tasks
· Helping us improve our service
A college degree is preferred, but not essential. Most important to us is an individual highly motivated to master (and, perhaps, improve) our systems and procedures. We will train you in the use of our industry-specific software (Tamarac and Advisor Engine). We value someone eager to learn and motivated to tackle challenges.
Our founder, David, had 40 years’ experience, and mentored our four planners. The planners, Dustin, Michelle, Jeff, and Whitney “came up through the ranks” and work directly with clients. Dustin and Jeff and our Chief Operating Officer, Nicole, are now partners in the firm. All planners are CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioners.
We wish to continue our growth, but as a small office, company culture is important to us. We seek controlled growth while maintaining exceptional service and a close working environment. Our Client Experience Team is very strong with well-established procedures. This allows the planners to devote most of their time to client issues.
Our client relationships are consultative, rather than transactional. The intake process encompasses much data gathering and a number of exploratory meetings. We meet on a semi-annual basis thereafter. We nurture strong client relationships.
