Online Learning Specialist
LeadingAge Minnesota (LAMN) is the largest association of organizations serving Minnesota seniors, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, adult day services, and other home- and community-based services. It serves as a catalyst to shape the future of aging services and ensure older adults in every community live with dignity and purpose. As the Online Learning Specialist, you will support, develop, implement, and deliver online educational content for distance learning offerings. Working with a variety of online learning technology platforms and eLearning tools/software applications, you’ll deliver education content online, ensuring a high-quality end-user experience.

What you’ll need to thrive
- Bachelor’s degree; or 1–2 years related experience or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the public.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Learning Management System (LMS), Association Management System (AMS), and ability to learn new software quickly.
What you’ll do as the Online Learning Specialist:
- Develop, manage, and enhance online learning programs by coordinating content creation, maintaining LMS functionality, and ensuring continuing education requirements are met.
- Plan and execute webinars and virtual learning events, including project management, speaker coordination, live facilitation, participant support, and certificate administration.
- Oversee learning technology platforms and data management by integrating LMS, webinar, and AMS to optimize the learner’s experience and reporting capabilities.
- Serve as Program Director for the Assisted Living Director Licensing Course, managing curriculum updates, student engagement, regulatory compliance, and program promotion.
- Support educational conferences and professional development initiatives through marketing, logistics coordination, budget planning, and collaboration with internal teams and subject matter experts.
