Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing & Communication to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our digital marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through data-driven marketing strategies and cross-channel campaign management.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with hands-on execution and leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment Marketing Strategy & Ownership

  • Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies focused on student recruitment and enrollment growth
  • Own and optimize the enrollment funnel (awareness → inquiry → tour → application → enrollment)
  • Partner with admissions teams to align marketing efforts with enrollment targets

Marketing Strategy & Ownership

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Own key growth metrics including customer acquisition, conversion rates, and ROI
  • Develop and manage the overall online marketing roadmap and campaign calendar

Campaign Management & Optimization

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of multi-channel campaigns across paid and organic platforms (e.g., social media, online advertising, content marketing)
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance to maximize efficiency and return on investment
  • Implement A/B testing and performance optimization strategies

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze marketing performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track success
  • Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to leadership

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor junior marketing team members or external vendors/agencies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, sales, leadership) to align marketing initiatives with business priorities
  • Drive cross-functional projects to support company growth

Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy

  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Use insights to refine positioning, messaging, and campaign strategies

Partnerships & Channel Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key digital platforms and partners
  • Expand marketing channels to increase brand visibility and customer reach

Brand & Social Media Strategy

  • Oversee social media strategy and ensure consistent brand voice across all platforms
  • Strengthen brand awareness, engagement, and online reputation
  • Lead content direction and campaign messaging

Customer Lifecycle & Retention

  • Develop and execute customer retention and re-engagement strategies
  • Optimize customer journey to increase lifetime value and repeat purchases

Paid Advertising & Budget Management

  • Manage and optimize paid media campaigns (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Own budget planning, allocation, and performance tracking
  • Ensure efficient spend and strong ROI across channels

Product Marketing & Launch Strategy

  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches
  • Coordinate cross-channel campaigns to maximize reach and engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Experience in private school, K-12 education, or enrollment marketing strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of driving growth through digital marketing strategies
  • Strong expertise in paid media, social media, and multi-channel campaign management
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience using tools such as Google Analytics and marketing dashboards
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing marketing spend
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
