The Role
The Sales & Business Development Manager is an externally focused, relationship-driven role with a focus on B2B referral partners. You will spend the majority of your time out of the office—meeting with referral partners, attending networking events, and building the pipeline of clients who need downsizing and estate cleanout services. This is not a desk job. Success in this role comes from consistently showing up, building trust, and staying top of mind with the people who can connect us with clients.
What You’ll Do
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain referral relationships with estate attorneys, realtors, senior living communities, financial advisors, hospice and home health agencies, funeral homes, and other professionals who regularly work with clients facing downsizing or estate transitions.
• Conduct regular in-person visits and presentations with referral partners to educate them on Clutter Cleaner’s services and build ongoing rapport.
• Represent Clutter Cleaner at networking events, community organizations, senior expos, real estate association meetings, and industry gatherings throughout the Charleston metro area.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with clear targets, activity metrics, and follow-up cadence.
• Track all outreach, meetings, and referral activity in a CRM and report on pipeline progress regularly.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless handoff from referral to completed job.
• Over time, expand market coverage into Hilton Head/Bluffton, Myrtle Beach, and Columbia as the business grows.
Who We’re Looking For
• Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or relationship management—ideally in move management, real estate, senior services, legal, financial services, or a related field.
• Comfortable and confident in external-facing, community-based sales; you genuinely enjoy meeting new people and nurturing long-term relationships.
• Self-directed and highly organized—able to manage your own schedule, prioritize effectively, and stay accountable without daily oversight.
• Empathetic communicator who understands the sensitive nature of the clients we serve and can represent the Clutter Cleaner brand with warmth and professionalism.
• Existing network in the Charleston professional community is a strong plus.
• Experience with CRM tools and basic sales reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; this role requires regular local travel.
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive base salary plus revenue share, with a realistic path to $60,000+ in total compensation in year one.

Territory
Primary focus is the greater Charleston, SC metro area. As the business scales, this role will expand to cover Hilton Head/Bluffton, Myrtle Beach, and Columbia markets.
