Human Resources Manager

Advanced Media Technologies, Inc.

About AMT

For more than 40 years, AMT has helped Internet Service Providers and broadband operators build the networks that connect the world. As a leading value-added reseller and solutions provider, we deliver end-to-end broadband technology — from the headend to the home — backed by the engineering depth, supply chain strength, and lifecycle support our customers count on. We're growing, we're modernizing, and we're investing in the people who make AMT work. That's where this role comes in.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to serve as the primary HR leader for our ~100-person organization. You'll report directly to our President & COO and partner closely with senior leadership to support a hybrid workforce through a period of meaningful growth and transformation.

This is a hands-on, high-judgment role for someone who genuinely enjoys owning the full employee lifecycle — and who knows that great HR is equal parts strategy, operational excellence, and trusted relationships. If you want visibility, real ownership, and the chance to shape culture at a company where people stay for decades, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

Strategic Partnership & Leadership Support

  • Serve as the primary HR advisor to senior leadership on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning
  • Partner with leaders to translate business objectives into practical people strategies that drive growth, engagement, and retention
  • Proactively surface people-related risks and opportunities, with thoughtful, business-oriented solutions
  • Support leadership through change management, employee communications, and culture initiatives in a hybrid environment

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Own employee relations matters end-to-end — investigations, PIPs, disciplinary actions, and terminations — with consistency, fairness, and full compliance
  • Coach managers on people management, documentation, and difficult conversations
  • Lead the performance management cycle, including reviews, feedback, and development planning
  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture grounded in engagement, accountability, and trust

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Lifecycle

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from workforce planning and intake through hiring, onboarding, and assimilation
  • Partner with leaders to assess talent needs, evaluate candidates, and make sound hiring decisions
  • Design and deliver onboarding programs that set new hires up for success from day one
  • Support succession planning and internal talent development

Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Administer day-to-day benefits programs and serve as the go-to resource for employee questions, claims, and coverage issues
  • Manage leave administration, workers' compensation, and COBRA processes in coordination with vendors and payroll partners
  • Support payroll accuracy, timely submissions, and compliance in partnership with payroll providers
  • Maintain accurate, compliant personnel records, documentation, and reporting

Compliance, Policies & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and employee communications aligned with legal requirements and company values
  • Minimize organizational risk through consistent policy application and sound employment practices
  • Stay current on evolving employment laws and proactively advise leadership

Training, Development & Organizational Capability

  • Develop and deliver training for managers and employees on performance management, compliance, and people leadership
  • Identify capability gaps and partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to close them

What You Bring

  • 7–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of employment law, benefits, compensation, employment practices, equal opportunity, and payroll
  • Hands-on experience administering benefits and other HR programs
  • Strong communicator — written, verbal, and in the room with senior leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with the credibility to influence at every level
  • Proven discretion and the practiced habit of handling confidential information with care
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and energized by change
  • Resourceful and creative when meeting new challenges
  • Quick to absorb and apply new tools, technologies, and approaches

Preferred

  • PHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, or training & development

Why AMT

  • Stability with momentum. A 40+ year company entering its next chapter — and you'll help shape it.
  • Direct line to leadership. This role reports to the President & COO. Your work will be seen, and your voice will count.
  • Real ownership. You won't be one HR voice in a crowd of fifty. You'll be the HR function.
  • Hybrid flexibility. Headquartered in Deerfield Beach, FL, with a hybrid work model that allows for one day a week remote, four days in the office.
  • A team that stays. Our tenure speaks for itself — people build careers here.
