Private Client Director
Crossover
Most admissions positions are designed to maximize volume. This position exists to uphold standards.
Alpha is constructing one of the most rigorous school frameworks in the world. Our locations integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely advance more quickly than national averages, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons are dedicated to deeper exploration, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model is effective. But effectiveness depends entirely on family alignment.
This is your entry point.
You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a relay position. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether their enrollment choices reflect authentic fit. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when circumstances warrant it. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is strategic alignment.
We welcome candidates from distinguished service backgrounds outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive operations, exclusive membership platforms, or entrepreneurial leaders who have directly overseen premium client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a consultative, multi-phase engagement with discernment, transparency, and accountability.
If your career has centered on providing exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experience caliber shape the brand identity, this role will resonate—only now applied to work that demonstrably transforms lives.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial outreach through final onboarding.
- Facilitating discovery conversations to evaluate alignment before offering recommendations or advancing to subsequent stages.
- Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varying phases of enrollment, maintaining full transparency on progression and outreach.
- Directing campus visits, student observation sessions, and decision-focused discussions that articulate results, standards, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Sustaining precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, resource allocation, and service excellence.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Applying volume-focused or aggressive conversion methods.
- Admitting families who lack appropriate fit in order to satisfy quotas.
- Overseeing large teams or operating within complex hierarchical structures.
- Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple departments.
- Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-centered.
