Job Description: Graphic Design and Retail Operations Internship

(In person | 3 days/week)

Schedule: 2 weekdays + 1 weekend day preferable

Duration: 4 months | Starting ASAP

Compensation: $450 stipend. School credit preferable.

Stivali New York is a women's luxury footwear label designed in New York and handcrafted in Colombia, with retail partnerships with Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, and Anthropologie. Brand & Reporting

Brand: Stivali New York Reports directly to: Marketing and Operations Coordinator

Role Purpose

50% Graphic Design & Email Marketing. Support omnichannel content execution including email marketing campaigns, visual design, and strategy application. This side of the role is execution-focused and centered on consistency, clarity, and brand alignment.

50% Retail Operations. Support daily sales operations, order tracking, and fulfillment days. This includes hands-on coordination to keep the customer experience running smoothly from purchase to delivery.

In addition, this intern will be assigned segment analysis tasks. No prior experience is required for this; training will be provided.

Platforms & Scope

Scope: Email marketing, Klaviyo, visual design, campaign execution, sales operations, order fulfillment tracking, and segment analysis. Posting cadence: 4 campaigns per week + automation audits based on planner and direction

Core Responsibilities

Design & Email Marketing (50%)

  • Execute media visuals using existing templates and brand systems
  • Video, photo, and media editing
  • Prepare and format email campaigns according to approved planners
  • Schedule approved content across platforms
  • Organize assets and maintain clean folder structures
  • Ensure visual consistency across omnichannel formats
  • Support copywriting and caption writing

Retail Operations (50%)

  • Support in-person sales and assist the floor team as needed
  • Track and follow up on orders from placement through delivery
  • Coordinate fulfillment days and flag any order issues promptly
  • Assist with segment analysis tasks (guidance provided, no experience needed)

Creative & Decision Boundaries

  • No creation from scratch or independent creative decisions
  • All content requires review and approval
  • The intern does not publish content independently

Profile & Skills

  • Junior undergraduate or graduate preferred
  • Strong design foundation (Canva required, Adobe Suite a plus)
  • Background in design, communications, fashion, or retail preferred
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Must bring their own laptop and working equipment. Software will be provided.

Logistics & Success Definition

Format: In person | Hours: 24/week | 2 weekdays + 1 weekend day preferable Duration: 4 months

Success looks like: consistent campaign execution without last-minute stress, clean and on-brand visuals, reliable order follow-through, and a contribution to both the creative and operational sides of the business.
