Wealth Advisor (HNW Relationship Manager)

MOHR Talent

Wealth Advisor (HNW Relationship Manager)

Brentwood, NY| $150,000–$155,000 base + incentive

Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday–Friday (5 days)

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a highly regarded, boutique RIA on Long Island that delivers a true white-glove client experience for high-net-worth families. This is a relationship-first Wealth Advisor role built for someone who wants to spend their time advising and deepening client relationships—not grinding on cold prospecting.

You’ll step into a ready-made book as part of a long-term succession plan, with a steady flow of warm inbound opportunities (typically 2–4 qualified leads per week). You’ll sit between a senior advisor/founder and a newly promoted advisor, giving you strong internal support and a clear lane to make an impact immediately.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Inherit a book: take over ~80–100 existing client relationships
  • Limited business development: consistent inbound leads; not a heavy hunter role
  • High-touch model: boutique environment where advisors have time to advise (not churn)
  • Strong support: access to specialists for advanced trust/tax/estate planning (you don’t need to be the technical quarterback)
  • Succession + growth path: meaningful long-term opportunity in a stable, respected firm

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and manage ~80–100 established HNW client relationships
  • Lead client review meetings and ongoing planning conversations
  • Deliver proactive advice across investments, retirement, and holistic planning goals
  • Coordinate with internal/external specialists on complex planning needs (estate/tax/trust support available)
  • Convert warm inbound opportunities generated through referrals and organic demand
  • Provide a highly responsive, polished, white-glove client experience
  • Partner closely with advisors and client service team to ensure seamless execution

What They’re Looking For

  • 7+ years as a Wealth Advisor / Financial Advisor / Relationship Manager (HNW focus)
  • CFP highly preferred
  • Strong relationship management skills: personable, polished, trusted advisor presence
  • Comfortable owning an established book and deepening multi-generational relationships

Compensation & Schedule

  • Base salary: $150,000–$155,000
  • Incentive opportunity on top of base
  • Onsite 5 days/week (Mon–Fri)
