HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Sunstates Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers in the Jersey City, NJ area. All days and shifts are available! These positions offer a pay rate of $19/hr, with weekly pay.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
- Control access to buildings and restricted areas
- Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in accordance with established procedures
- Complete incident and shift reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service while ensuring rules and regulations are followed
- Valid NJ SORA security guard license card.
Requirements
- There is no parking available at this location, so candidates must be able to rely on public transportation to report to work.
- Must have basic technology experience, including the ability to use computers, email, camera systems, and access card systems.
- Must be able to conduct security tours that may last up to one hour.
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with the client, staff, visitors, and team members.- Must be able to work scheduled shifts and possibly additional hours when requested by the client.- Must be able to write detailed and professional incident reports.
- Must have corporate security experience.
- Must be able to meet with the client for an interview after the initial interview process.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
