13-Week Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join a leading healthcare organization in Long Beach, CA. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with sterilization standards, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory requirements to support patient safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of sterilized instruments, trays, and medical equipment.

• Monitor sterilization processes and verify compliance with industry standards and facility policies.

• Conduct quality audits and maintain accurate documentation of sterilization activities.

• Identify quality concerns and assist with corrective and preventive action initiatives.

• Collaborate with Sterile Processing staff to ensure adherence to infection prevention and patient safety standards.

• Support continuous quality improvement efforts within the department.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience required.

Current CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) certification required.

Strong knowledge of sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and quality assurance standards.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
