Under the general supervision of the Administrator I, Administrative and Warehouse Operations Unit, Business Services Section (BSS), the incumbent is responsible for planning, budget forecasting, database management, inventory control, and problem resolution over departmental supplies and forms. The incumbent provides services to central office, California field offices, as well as out of state field offices.They act as a liaison with Franchise Tax Board (FTB) management, customers, and vendors. The department's supply coordinator performs the following duties independently.

  • Strong analytical experience in budgeting and inventory forecasting
  • Experience using and maintaining inventory or database systems
  • Experience and understanding of procurement or supply chain processes
  • Warehouse and/or supply inventory experience
  • Ability to follow and improve ordering and inventory procedures
  • High attention to detail when reviewing data, invoices, and counts
  • Good communication and customer service experience
  • Ability to work with vendors, warehouse staff, and internal teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools
  • Ability to identify outdated items and suggest cost-effective alternatives
