Girls volleyball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. Texas Sports Academy is one of the fastest-growing K–12 education brands. Texas Sports Academy is launching a national-caliber girls volleyball school in Dallas with the goal of building the #1 girls volleyball school in the world.

The vision is to open as a nationally competitive program from day one. Any student with aspirations to play Division I, national-team, Olympic, or professional volleyball should see this as the school to attend.

Texas Sports Academy Girls Volleyball will be hosted at Elite Performance Training, a world-class facility in the heart of Dallas Cowboys country. Students will train in an environment surrounded by serious athletes and professionals, giving them a daily picture of what it takes to reach the next level.

TSA will operate the school. The Founding Head Coach will serve as the architect of the volleyball program — setting the athletic standard, building the founding roster, leading daily training, and helping bring together the players, families, and broader girls volleyball ecosystem.

By the end of the 2026 school season, the goal is for Texas Sports Academy Girls Volleyball to be widely recognized as one of the top girls volleyball school programs in the country and ranked as a Top 10 national program on MaxPreps.

Scope

This role is for the Founding Head Coach of Texas Sports Academy Girls Volleyball. The Head Coach will set the athletic standard at the school, help recruit elite student-athletes, lead daily training, build the competition schedule, and establish a culture capable of competing nationally from year one.

Term

This is a 12-month founding coach engagement, with a target term of June 15, 2026 – June 15, 2027.

Coach Responsibilities

1. Founding Roster Recruiting - The Head Coach will help source and recruit the founding roster. This includes identifying elite volleyball student-athletes, introducing families to Texas Sports Academy, and participating in summer recruiting events and camps. The goal is to recruit at least 10 elite volleyball student-athletes who can form the foundation of a nationally competitive program.

2. Coaching - The Head Coach will be on campus every school day from approximately 11:30 AM–3:30 PM, leading elite volleyball training sessions. Training should develop technical skill, tactical understanding, physical preparation, leadership, and competitive mindset. Occasional Life Skills sessions — such as public speaking, leadership, and post-game press conference workshops — may also take place during this block. The goal is to deliver exceptional coaching, build a nationally elite program, and create a team that serious Division I-caliber volleyball players see as the place they need to be.

3. Founding Voice - The Head Coach will serve as the founding voice of Texas Sports Academy Girls Volleyball. As appropriate, the Head Coach may be featured on the school website, recruiting materials, family communications, and external press materials.

4. Competition Schedule - The Head Coach will develop a competitive schedule for the Girls Volleyball team, with the goal of creating a credible path to state and national recognition.

Requirements

  • Elite girls volleyball coaching experience at the high school, club, college, national, or professional level.
  • Proven ability to develop Division I-caliber athletes and nationally competitive teams.
  • Strong credibility with elite players, families, clubs, college coaches, and the broader volleyball ecosystem.
  • Ability to recruit a founding roster capable of competing nationally from year one.
  • Exceptional standards for training quality, discipline, culture, communication, and player development.
  • Availability to coach on campus every school day from approximately 11:30 AM–3:30 PM.
  • Clear desire to help build the best girls volleyball school in the country.

Benefits

Compensation - TSA will pay the Head Coach $100,000 per year, distributed in equal weekly installments.

Performance Bonuses - The Head Coach is eligible for the following performance bonuses:

  • Founding Roster Bonus: $10,000. Paid once 10 students introduced by the Head Coach have completed paid enrollment in the founding cohort. Head Coach receives an additional $1,000 for each additional student introduced who enrolls, up to 20 students total.
  • National Top 10 Bonus: $10,000. Paid one-time if the school is ranked in the Top 10 nationally by MaxPreps at any point during the 2026–27 season.
  • National #1 Bonus: $10,000. Paid one-time if the school is ranked #1 nationally by MaxPreps at any point during the 2026–27 season.
